Nothing beats when my boyfriend rode up behind me to say that my shorts had stretched a little thin and the cars might be honking because they can see my ass.

The only honks i usually get while out training are accompanied by a finger and the occasional half drank can of cheap beer wizzing past…Bike helmets serve two purposes in the Adirondacks.

Yup. That’s what we get around here too.
Last ride it was a truck pulling around me, then putting on its brakes (to the point of stopping) taking a right on a green light. I sit up with a “what the fuck?” look, and as I come around him, I see him hanging out the driver window yelling “sorry for slowing you down asshole!” And this was on a 4-lane road (2 each way) and I’d been on the right of the right lane the whole time.

I had the unfortunate experience of having a guy pull up along side of me last fall and tell me I had “great legs.” It sort of weirded me out.

Never been whistled at but I had a bunch of kindergarten kids laugh and point at me as I was running by with my shirt off. Doh!
yes, also when they drive by as you’re riding and yell stuff like “hot ass” “oh yeah baby” and stuff like that. Unfortunately while running 50% of the time it’s members of the same sex that yell:P
Unfortunately, it does not happen often enough and when it does it is almost inevitably a car load of teenage girls. It still makes my day knowing that at age 56 my body still passes their muster. They would be extremely embarassed if I removed my sunglasses and helmet/hat.

Maybe its just me!!
Just yesterday I was climbing a pretty nasty hill when a woman in an SUV (with winodws down) pulled around me and shouted “I’m inpressed” as she went by. I think she was talking about the act of climbing this particular hill rather than my appearance but I still didn’t mind.
yeah, I had teenage girls yell for me to do things that some people (think adult entertainment) get paid to do…then when you catch up to them at a stoplight and go right up to the window w/ the request to repeat it slower…it makes them feel just a little awkward haha
