Getting fitted

I’m 5’ 10’’ and I have a 30’’ inseam. Can any one tell me what size of bike I should be looking for?

Good place to start is on this site from Colorado Cyclist. This site shows you how to measure your inseam correctly and the theoretical formula for determining frame size.

Things to be aware of however is that if you have less than normal proportions for your height, eg. long leg/short torso or short leg/long torso. Also realize that not all bike makers measure their frames exactly the same. What may be a 54 for one company may be a 53 or 55 with another. You sould be aware of top tube length also, but realize that you have a fair degree of adjustability with stem lenghts.

Here’s the site:

Go get a fit, its WELL worth it. I did a FIST fitting, it was a VAST improvement over my “fitting included with a bike purchase” where I bought my bike. $100, $200, even $300 or $400…worth every single cent. I wish I would have done it before I got my bike.
