Went with a friend this weekend to watch her get properly fit to her new Softride. It’s a hugely informative process, if you like that kind of stuff and have the time. I highly recommend seeing the entire process as a spectator to really appreciate what goes into a professional fitting session, and it’s all the better if you can participate in questions and theory. If you are hesitant about spending your money on an unknown, check first with a local fitter and ask if you can ‘come down and watch’. I am glad I did, and the few hours was time well spent.
‘Thanks’ to Paul Fabish in North Franklin, CT for allowing me to participate and answering my questions. Paul was very friendly and laid-back, while at the same time being very workman-like and professional.
It’s nice to see in person what guys like Paul (and Tom D., et.al.) do for their clients.
