Still not the cheapest version of this frame. And here $800 does not include fork/headset/seatpost as far as i can tell.

I wonder how pedalforce make money, they must sell a hell of a lot of frames. We are also going to be bringing in the same frames as this one, planet-x, stephens etc and I know what the cost of these is in Hong Kong. To make it worthwhile pedalforce must be planning to sell a lot of them. We have speced some changes to the layup to improve the ride but apart from that it is the same frame. Maybe we will have to rethink our plan.
We were going to have a MSRP of about $1400 on ours including fork, seatpost, headset and a really nice paintjob.
Just because they have a product, doesn’t mean they have a viable business plan.
Looking at $800 for their frame, $1750 for the PX with post, fork and aerobars, or your proposed of $1400 with post, fork and headset, seems all a bit of a wash pricewise.

I don’t know, $1400 might not be too bad if you can seperate it from the crowd a bit with a nice fork and a real nice distracting paint job. you have to realize the average triathlete who is NOT addicted to Slowtwitch (I’m constantly reminded of this whenever I coach tri clinics) just thinks in terms of “cool carbon bike” versus “cool carbon bike, but it’s actually just XXXX’s frame repainted” Sometimes you need to bump your price a bit to position yourself a bit above the percieved generics. It’s not like you’re selling a crappy frame, there has got to be a reason why you all chose that frame besides just price & availibility…
