I noticed the Dem’s were out manipulating the price of gas leading up to the election. Its up $0.30 / gal here from Sunday to Tuesday.
Yeah, what the hell happened with the Gas prices? It was $1.92 on Monday and yesterday it was $2.16, just in time for da dems to juice the vote!!
Hmmm, where are all the Dem’s with their Gas price conspiracies?
And why hasn’t cancer been cured yet, dammit?
We’re still in Iraq? WTF? C’mon Dems, get with it!!

Yeah, why isn’t Christopher Reeve training for a triathlon? The dems got their stem cell research initiatives passed. He should be up and around by now.

Oh STOP IT. All of you. Stop polarizing the nation (and ST) even more than the crybabies in Congress and the White House.
How you can you blame the party who hadn’t even gotten into office yet that THEY changed the gas prices? Couldn’t it have been the oil people ‘proving’ that Bush “lowered the gas prices”, and they raised the prices at the very end?
Do any of you truly enjoy being nasty and spiteful and angry all the time? I hope that feels good, because it’s really ugly to watch and is uncomfortable to be around.
VENT OVER*
Some Dems ran on a platform of ending subsidies to oil companies because, uhh, they’re making record profits.
I’m sure that “instability” is all they need to raise prices.
No, they need to jack the price of oil, keep cancer around, etc for 2 more years.
In all seriousness, an incumbent running for re-election from either party has an incentive to suppress the price of oil until after the election.
It looks like someone needs to go for a run.
Lauren, please lighten up. Here’s to hoping that you and other Dems don’t really take yourself that seriously? I don’t personally take myself that serious, and these posts in this thread are with tongue very firmly planted in cheek.
So how was the run?

Come on Lauren – clearly he was using sarcasm. Nobody blames the Dems for anything, yet. Give it a week and then we will be serious…
Mike
“It looks like someone needs to go for a run.”
LOL!
Seriously, I was just tired of each party bashing the other one. So counterproductive. Don’t peoples’ fingers get tired from pointing so much? I’ll bet things would be better if we make solutions, not fling blame (like monkey throw poo).

Naw. Even most Dems don’t know what to make of me ;)— I was in a Starbucks in Chevy Chase MD last Sunday (you know, where your congresspeople live) and I thought they were going to jump out of their well-heeled chairs to see a girl in cowboy boots and a leather jacket.

OH MY GOD YOU ARE ALL NUTS. I POSTED THIS BEFORE THE ELECTION RESULTS WERE KNOWN. MY POINT WAS THE DEMS WERE TALKING ABOUT HOW BUSH HAD MANIPULATE (OR THE OIL COMPANIES) IF THAT WAS THE CASE WHY WOULD IT GO UP RIGHT BEFORE THE ELECTION.
NEITHER POLITICAL PARTY WAS MANIPULATING MARKET FORCES WERE.
I WAS BEING SARCASTIC (YES I BAITED IT A BIT BY NOT PUTTING A SMILEY) BUT WOW.
yes the yelling was intentional.
Ok, I read the rest of the posts, and see the rest of you got it.
For the record I voted mostly for Libertarians.
