Garmin HRM with Powertap

Having just found out that yes, the Forerunner 305 does work with the Powertap + hubs but no, it won’t actually display the power I now need to get the Powertap computer so I can see my power info whilst actually riding.

I have the chance of buying an ex demo computer without the HRM. Has anyone paired their Garmin HRM wit the Powertap computer (the original computer not the new Joule version)

My HRM is ANT+ and came with my Forerunner 305

Yes you can pair the Garmin HR strap with the powertap computer. I did exactly this with my 305 HR strap.
