Garmin FR 210 problem

I borrowed a friend’s garmin FR 210 and we updated it right before i took it using garmin express. I have done a couple runs with it and didn’t try to download it till today. When you plug the garmin in, it mounts. When you got browse to it, what should be folders are now files. The watch works, its just not saving data. Does anyone have the file system that they could zip for me. If so I can PM you my dropittome site so you can put it on my dropbox.

I have reinstalled the firmware but it doesn’t change the file system.

Exact same thing happened to my Garmin Edge 510. The problem was resolved for me (after searching internet) by using Windows Explorer (or Finder) to Format the device as Fat 32. I then ejected the device, and when I turned it back on it rebuilt itself. However, all of my settings and rides were lost. That sorted it for me.

Here is the link to the info I found via Google:

Thanks! That worked.

otherwise, how you like your 210? i’m considering this purchase

I was just borrowing my friends 210 while I sold my 910 and replaced it with the 920. The 210 was good, it has limited functionality, but if it does what you need then its perfectly fine. It wan’t bulky and found the satellites quickly.

just realized the 220 is the new release version of this watch, so will probably go with that.
