Has anyone had one of the up or down buttons gone bad on their forerunner? Mine is only 8 months old and the up button has quit working. I am hoping there is an easy fix, can I open the back of this thing and un-stick it? I hate to have to send it away for service with marathon season approaching!

Do a search on the Motion Based forum on how to reset your garmin. I had the power button fail and a reset fixed it.

If not they are really good about warranty repairs. Overall my 305 has been awesome. I use it for workouts, advanced workouts, Treadmill workouts, my own personal workouts, Virtual partner etc.
