What does everyone use to mount their Garmin 910 to their tri bike?
Hi, Here is the BTA set-up of a person that bought one of my BTA mount systems. It works pretty well for the 910XT. I hope this helps, Glen
1" PVC cut and zip tied between the aerobars at the most anterior position, then wrapped in Electrical tape to match grips. Add Garmin quick connect tab. Like 5 bucks.
X2. This is what I have out by my shifters so I don’t have to look straight down like when I had it by my stem or on my TorHans garmin mount. Cheap and very good. Now have to clean it up and make it look better.
I used a piece of bamboo …saving the planet 1 bicycle at a time.
My wrist.
Turned to the inside for swim and bike, rolled to the outside on the run.
I also leave it on my wrist, turned to the inside for the bike, but in my last race, I bumped it against the speedfil A2 and hit the start/stop button. As a result I didn’t get clean data for the ride/race as I only realised about 5km later that the watch/timer was no longer running. I also use a Garmin Edge 500 as my main visual for the bike segment so that part was covered, but my race time was out on the the 910.
Slightly OT, but just a reminder that you can lock the buttons. Press ^ & Mode together. Taking a gamble that this unsolicited advice isn’t as annoying as losing the data.
I found that out after my half when I hit my buttons on with it on the inside of my wrist on the shiv hose SIGH.

I use a XLab Torpedo mount but thinking I will switch to wrist in order to get a dedicated bike computer.
Profile Design UCM. The cheap and easy solution.
Speedfill BTA cage. It has a mount built right into the top of it so it is easy to see.

I second this. LBS recommended it to me and it’s good.
I usto use the BarFly TT mount with a Profile Design Aqualite bottle and recently switched to the Xlab Torpedo System 400 and it works very well. i liked the barfly better because it is much more stable and solid. the Xlabb has a little big of give and when you push its better to put a pinky below the mount so you have something ti push against. and it does move if you try to push buttons to change screens while riding. where as the bar fly did not it was a 100% solid mount.
I am using a pvc pipe, cut to fit between the two aero bars. Cut the pipe in a length of the distance from center to center of the bars. Then cut a half cirkle from each “side” of the pipe, in each end. Fits perfectly. Only downside is that I have to take one bar off to install.
speedfil z4+
.
Thanks for that. Not annoying since it hadn’t occurred to me - I’ve never had a problem with other watches.
I use the barfly tt Mount

Is there a mount like the BarFly TT that fits 26mm TT bars? I’d like to mount my Edge 800 to my aerobars.
