Garmin 800 replacement options?

My Garmin 800 seems to have broken (won’t power up or take a charge) - kind of disappointing given that it is less than 2 yrs old and was not abused. Any suggestions for possible non-Garmin options that would offer similar functions? Gotta have ANT+ normalized power, but otherwise not overly particular. I’m hoping there are some better options out there this time around

I think it is like $75 to get an out of warranty replacement from Garmin. Give them a call.

Garmin customer service is usually very good, give them a call before you look at other options.

As far as I know, Garmin is still the big dog in town. Nothing else really comes close. If you are really fed up with Garmin, Suunto or a smartphone app may be a good alternative.

Turns out it is $99 from Garmin to replace an out of warranty 800 but still worth doing since purchasing a new unit is much more
