Got this e-mail earlier today also. Think I’m going to pick up a Vortex 3 full suit for $150. The sleevless is only $99. They have guaranteed fit policy and a 2 year warranty. Not their top of the line suit, but for the price, I don’t think you can beat it.

Just read the descripion…he tells people to make the purchase then he will send them the promo code. If people are naive enough to do that, he’s going to cost them money. One has to link through the promo link then make the purchase (I just did make my purchase by the way). I sent a message asking him to remove the auction or I might have to notify Xterra. Brilliant.
*edit…ok, re-read it and he’s probably referring to the purchase on ebay. I misread it initially because he states go to the Xterra website to see the suits and then purchase and he’d send the code. Still a bit deceptive. Still think it should be removed.
Is the VectorPro X2 Sleeveless worth the extra loot ($250 vs. $99) over the Vortex 3 Sleeveless? Probably going to grab one.
that’s the same thing i’m debating.
the vectorpro x2 suit has the scs coating, but otherwise seems identical (especially in a sleeveless model).
I have the Vortex 3 John suit, so far so good. I paid the $99 also and have NEVER second guessed it. I just couldn’t validate an extra $150? Good luck though!

I bought a Vortex sleeveless for $99 and love it. Perfect for summer here, when the water is 65-70. Super warm and very stretchy. I’m sure the Vortex with sleeves is as warm as any suit.
I’m 5-10 & 155 and the small-tall fits perfect, maybe even so stretchy it may become a tad too big after a couple seasons. So they run big, like the old QR suits (I had a 2003), but are even more flexible. I know lots of people who are super happy with the entry level Vortex suit. I bet it is 90% as fast as the high end ones.

I just ordered a Vortex 3 full suit. I am 6’0 and 150lbs so I ordered a Small Long/Tall.
Just FYI guys…super fast shipping…got mine next day…but they tear extremely easy. I bought two vortex 3’s…one for my brother and one for me…and both of us first time trying them on ripped holes through them while being gentle handling them. It’s common for tri wetsuits to get rips…just upsetting to happen first time trying them on and so easily. No returns on tears either. Just a heads up!
