…and you actually care about voting, it looks like you’re SOL, according to a source (membership assistant) I just spoke with at USAT. She said something to the effect of “we have been instructed by USAT not to send out any ballots…so if you didn’t get one…then yeah, we can’t send one.”
This may be old news, but I thought I read a post somewhere (by Dan?) suggesting that if you didn’t receive a ballot for one reason or another–you could just call up USAT and have one sent. That’s not the case apparently.
I’m in the middle of a move…I was afraid this was going to happen. I should’ve changed my address with USAT sooner, though USPS should be forwarding my mail. Though, I’ve only gotten 2 pieces of forwarded mail in 2 weeks at my new address…way to go USPS.
I have not received a ballot, and I have not moved since joining as an annual member years ago. They don’t have a problem sending me my yearly bill in the mail or mailing me my membership card. I get my copy of Triathlete News or whatever it is you get as as a member.
I am running for the Board and neither my wife nor I have received our ballots. I have called and left a message for the Staff. However my instinct tells me this is a USPS snafu.

Has anyone else failed to receive a ballot?
Could just be the USPS…I didn’t mean to imply that if you haven’t gotten one yet, it’s not ever coming. Merely throwing the FYI out there that if you don’t ever get one, it seems that you cannot request one.
It could very well be a USPS snafu, but the odds are against it. There is no hard information to go on as to why some of us did not receive a ballot, but if there are very many of us that don’t receive it I would have to question the methods USAT used to mail ballots.
We all get many bills every month through the mail. How many times does your electric bill go missing in the mail? Does anyone know a standard number used to determine USPS success rates? As much as we all like to gripe about USPS, truth is they deliver a lot of mail every day with very low loss rates.
Given the very poor reputation of USAT at this moment, you would think they would be very responsive to any election issues.
