Folks in the LR seem to be quite “particular” about grammar so I thought you might get a “kick” out of this blog. I have no idea what some of these people were thinking when they created their “signage”. The commentary is pretty funny as well.

As a grammar pedant, I thought there was some pretty funny stuff there. My favorite is the sign for the “garage” “sale.” Seems to hint at a bunch of disclaimers - like maybe it’s more of a “carport” than a “garage,” or maybe some of the stuff is for free rather than for “sale,” and the whole thing is less like a “garage sale” and more like a Scientology informational session . . .
I actually recognized one of those signs – the one for The “Victory” Inn. I used to go there when I lived near Brighton.
I am sure this would make “bennett brauer” happy; but, that’s “just me.”
