Fuel Belts (1)

I have the Amphipod belt with 4 water bottles but sometimes my shirt rides up and the belt cuts my skin… very annoying until the cuts heal up. Does anyone have this problem when using the Fuel or Nathan belts?

I use a two-bottle fuelbelt for longer runs or trail run/hikes and have had no problems. It stays put and I hardly notice it. I’m curious to see what the new helium belts look like as I think I would like more water than the two 10 oz ones on my current setup. I think 4x8oz would be about perfect. The heliums also look like they have a bigger pocket than the two-bottle one (it’s pretty tiny, barely holds my cellphone and keys).

My fuel belt Endurance also has the tendency to ride up and rub me raw if its not snug enough.

My 4 bottle Fuel Belt does the same thing. Very painful. The new Fuel Belt Helium is supposed to eliminate that problem, but, still haven’t seen it in any of the stores.

I have Amphipod and Fuel Belt. The Amphipod does what you say and I rarely use mine because of it. The Fuel Belt, however, if properly put around your hips should stay in place fine. I have only tried on the new Fuel Belt once and it seems like a better design. I’ll get the new one when my wife isn’t looking.
