^this is the only correct comment
this is not what she was claiming, she was doing a 4 day failure test at 6 watts per kg 2 efforts a day
at 80 cadence she lasted like 10 min 15 min easy spin and something like 5 min for second
next day she did 60 cadence and that was like 5 min and 4
and then 100 cadence the next day and one of them was 7 min
and then day 4 she rode at chosen cadence she did 13 min and was average 73 cadance
her question was is lower cadence at e sport better and i guess her conclusion was for her yes.
she was working hard unlike the first clown in the first video who was doing a commercial for a turbo trainer
Fair enough. Say, 15 min power at 6 W/kg in training is still very high for a female semi-pro. Most female riders are quite secretive about their power, and maybe the published 5-5.6 W/kg threshold at the top of the sport is now outdated. Not calling BS, just asking the question.
I think the other relevant thing to note is that Illi is a lot lighter than Vollering, which I think makes it relatively easier to achieve high w/kg numbers, and does not directly translate into winning races that also have time trials / flat stages where absolute power numbers are more relevant.
I donât think there is any reason to doubt Illiâs numbers, she is remarkably transparent and her real life hill climb results back up the fact that she is one of top female climbers in the world.
