FSA cranks (2)

My cycling buddy tells me today that I should of got dura-ace cranks with fsa ceramic bearings on my new try bike instead of the k-force lights with the same bearings. He says that the way the fsa cranks are tightened from both sides neutralizes the benefits of the ceramic bearings. He said the guy at the LBS put DA cranks with fsa bearings on his bike and the crank arm would just nearly spin on its own when given a push. Bike shop guy then switched and put the k-force lights on, and they did not spin nearly as long when pushed. What’s up with this?
