FS: PowerTap SL Wired on Mavic OP with Wheel Covers - Used - SOLD

Used, 1 year of riding, maybe 5,000 miles of combined road and trainer time. I’d say condition is commensurate with use and good care: light scuffs, nicks and scratches but no trauma to anything, no crashes, all good roads, easy straight ahead tri-type training. Only ridden in light rain for a few minutes, almost always completely dry roads.

The hub and built up wheel came from Saris. It was new and was shipped to me about 1 year ago.

Includes:

  1. PowerTap SL Wired Hub with Mavic Open Pro 32h (some nicks on brake track, but smooth)

  2. Head unit/CPU (some scuffs on display cover, but you don’t notice when riding).

  3. Heart rate strap - Garmin, paired (learned) to the CPU. The CycleOps strap that came with it when kaput from taking on water during an Ironman swim. The Garmin strap is perfectly reliable (I’m pretty sure it is identical hardware to the CycleOps strap). The strap is not in the photos, I simply overlooked it, but it will be part of the shipment.

  4. Two CPU mounts with cadence sensors: One never used. The 2 pedal magnets may or may not be the originals.

  5. One UBS download cradle: never used.

  6. Wheel covers custom made from Wheelbuilder.com with fasteners. One non-functional defect: the lip of the non-drive side wheelcover split right at the stem opening. I did this pumping up a tire. It doesn’t effect functionality, especially if you tape the cover down, which I do anyway. You can see this in one of the photos.

No tire
No skewer
No software (I don’t know where I placed the media). You can download free from Saris.
No cassette
No zip ties

This system performed solidly, rarely had dropouts, wheel rides very well. Replaced hub battery late summer 2008.

Asking $600 or Best Offer. Estimate an additional $35.00 shipping, but will expect only actual cost. I ship FedEx Ground, within continental U.S. only. Local pickup available.
