The tube and head of the Thomson Elite seatpost are integral-machined from one single piece of high strength 7000 series aluminum. The head is not pressed or bonded in. This allows for superior strength and minimum weight, allowing higher strength at low weights.

why would you want to go in a different direction?

I was going to turn my road bike into a tri config, but I bought a tri frame instead.

damn, need one of these in a 31.6
.

These posts are nice, I almost want to keep it just as another option to my straight FSA post I currently have on my road bike, but with my new tri frame I really have no need to get such an aggressive angle on my roadie.

Going to ebay on Monday.
