I have ridden this bike 3 times for a total of about 75 miles. It is effectively new. I bought it with the intent of making a concerted effort to get serious about racing again but the reality of the situation is that a road bike with clip-ons and some race wheels is more practical at this point. Specs below:
-2008 Specialized Transition Comp frame, Sz Small (rides a little bigger than that. I am 5’9" and it’s a great fit.) Specialized brakes, tri-tip saddle, and also comes with an extra low front brake hanger.
-
Zipp Vuka clip bars with Vuka Bull base bar. (Chicane extensions). All shims and parts included.
-
SRAM Red cranks, ceramic BB, rear der
-
SRAM Force fr der.
-
SRAM carbon brake levers, TT500 shifters
-
Oval Concepts adjustable stem (95mm)
-
Wheels - DT swiss 240 hubs, DT Swiss RR1.2 rims, black bladed spokes
-
Shimano Ultegra 6600 12-23 Cassette
-
Conti GP4000s tires
Bike works beautifully and was built by myself (a bike mechanic). I am EXTREMELY nit-picky about how my bikes ride and this one is tuned perfect. No “noises” or rough shifting. Everything is in new condition and is flawless. There is still plenty of room for raising the front end if you want, and with the adjustable stem you can get as high as you want if that is your kind of thing. Bike will be packed like I was shipping a small child, and will be insured with a signature required upon delivery.
I’m asking 3500 for it complete, but will take 3000 for the bike without the wheels.
I’m also going to list my current road bike (Ridley Excalibur) so if you’re looking for a carbon road bike PM me or search for my post.
