still $50 more than Bonktown
.
Then why haven’t you bought one? Well right now, there is a helmet on Bonktown. Not quite a Lucero. Whether the QR Lucero comes up again, and at what price, and if it’s available in a Large, remains to be seen. I, however, have one in hand ready to sell. But thanks for the free bump.
Oops wait, now it’s an FSA handle bar. Still not a Lucero though.
+1.
Seems like this happens a lot on ST: sellers offering you a “deal” which is pricier than Bonktown, ProBikeKit, etc. (and then venting their pent-up childhood frustrations if you dare point it out).
So here is another free bump, not for the OP but for the ST community: you can save at least $50 (and sometimes $150) on this frame on Bonktown.
But most often, it’s not there at all.

If only bonktown had a p3 for sale.
Amen brother. Or power meters.
Just got my QR lite put togather ans did a quick 6 mile ride. Felt great ! Back end (rear tire) seemed to want to catch up to the front tire. Where as the Transition I test rode was wishy washy when you got on it. Great bike and still a great buy . So here is another bump!
For those who are concerned about such things, the price is now $1 less than the most recent BonkTown listing. Count this as another free bump. ![]()
Could you give further detail on what you meant by “Back end (rear tire) seemed to want to catch up to the front tire.”. Wish I could hang on to the QR, but I’m also trying to sell my Guru Crono. Can’t keep both. I’ll keep the one that doesn’t sell first.
Thanks,
Kevin
Where, when did you buy this and what kind of warranty can be expected?
When I jumped on it ( pedaled harder ) from about 15 mph excelerating to about 28 mph seemed like it wanted to go faster only my legs could not keep up and I came to a stop sign also that it tracked very straight when pushed. When I test rode (8 months ago) the transition the backend seemed sloppy ( flex, side to side). Could have been my pedaling at the time and current fitness level or could have been it was a tester bike and that it was a windy day with side winds… The transition was still fast and a nice bike. Speed is a estimate as I did not hook up computer yet.
Bonktown. I doubt any warranty as it would be second hand. Feel free to contact QR/ABG. I can include receipt, but I doubt it will matter.
I see now that it’s a large, thought it was a medium for some reason.
Anyway, you can always sent it back to bonktown or a full refund.
If you want to make a buck, I would put it on eBay.

you could always return it to bonktown and get all you money back, less s&h of course - As they do have a no questions asked return policy. i mean, just so you’re not losing $ on the deal. I can’t imAgine you’d be marking it UP from the bonktown price you paid or anything (: bumperific!

…which is against the ‘spirit’ (and rules) of bonktown. Point is, if you buy something from bonktown and don’t use it - send it back and eat your shipping costs. don’t try to re-sell for profit on ST or eBay.
