what is the parts spec on this bike R10C or is this a stock build I can find out with a search?
I’m not R10C, and I don’t know R10C, but I do know that looks like a stock 2008 Jamis Xenith T1, which featured:
Frame: Carbon monocoque
Fork: Carbon Component
Highlights: Shimano Dura-Ace derailleurs, shifters, Ultegra 10-speed cassette (11-23); FSA SL-K Lite Hollow carbon crankset (53/39), MegaExo bottom bracket; Tektro R725 brakes w/ Vision Tech levers; Profile Cobra Wing bar w/ T2+ Cobra aero clip-on; Easton EA50 stem; Jamis carbon seatpost w/ dual setback
You can see the Jamis catalog here.
It is a danged nice bike. I have one that is very similar, and ST’s own Herbert rides one too. Very fast, very lightweight, all around great bike. The brakes aren’t the best, but then again, they are still better than regular brakes on a carbon rim. Besides, brakes are a sign of weakness. Do a google search and you’ll see some very positive feedback (and check this video).

I know its a long shot but I would like the fork & brakes if you’re willing to part.
Thank you, I admit I dont know much about Jamis, but in the hand this bike was lighter than a few others.
Like the P3C frameset - folks may be just shocked as to how cheap they can get this entire bicycle. There is no question that someone on ST will be able to beat any eBay price on this particular ride.
I know this bike and can tell that its a great bike. Tested very well in the wind tunnel and Jamis are really pushing the big guys with this bike at a way cheaper price.
would you sell it as a frameset?
So what size person will fit on this bike? Is it sized like a cervelo and one should go down a size from their road frame size?
Thanks, Tim
Again, I’m not R10C, but I do know this model bike a bit. I do believe the fit of the Jamis is quite similar to that of the Cervelo or Felt, in that both are long and low. The stack and reach numbers are very similar. I ride a 58 Jamis, and have been fitted for (but didn’t buy) a 58 Cervelo P2C and Felt B16. If the Cervelo fits you right, chances are the Jamis probably will to.
If you are more of a Scott, Cannondale, or Kuota rider (tall and narrow bike), you may want to seriously find a Jamis first and try it out, as it may not be the right bike for you.
It’s a great bike. I think they are a great value compared to similar bikes, probably because Jamis doesn’t carry the name recognition in the tri world (yet).
P.S. I am not a fitter, nor do I pretend to be one. I’m not even in the bike business. As always, you are advised to consult a fitter and make your own decisions.
Thanks! You rock.
