For sale is a Hed Jet 50, clincher (metal brake surface, so no special brake pads needed), 700. It has 24 bladed spokes, which makes it the EX version (stallion build). This is a great way to buy speed.
According to Hed, 50mm is the ideal depth to make a wheel that is noticeably faster than a standard 28mm road wheel. Shorter rims do not offer enough drag reduction, and taller rims can sometimes present handling problems if the wind is strong.
