I would not mind giving it a shot…but with my past trials with the lithium recharge batteries…once on a decline they never get any better. Garmin wants about $100 to replace the battery…doing it yourself is pretty risky. …made that mistake before. Anyway, you can pick up a brand new 305 for around $145…so if battery is terminal it would have to be sent out. You do the math…I hate making lowball offers on anything but sometimes it is what it is.
