FS: Dimpled Zipp Disc

I’m selling this for a friend. I think it’s about 3 years old. It’s flat both sides, but is dimpled. He has the decals shown on both sides, but I’m sure they come off easily if you don’t like them. The disc has a Continental Sprinter glued on, and it seems “okay”. I personally would put a better tire on it, but this one will work if you don’t have the cash to upgrade. The disc doesn’t have a ton of miles on it, as my friend doesn’t like running it for his tri set. I need to get 750 shipped for it. It will come with the wheel bag shown in the picture, but DOES NOT come with the SRAM Red cassette. It has a Zipp skewer as well that is included. I won’t be at home for two weeks, but my wife can get it shipped if someone is interested. Thanks!

Good luck…has whack logos, cosmetic (structural?) damage near the valve opening, and has been used by someone who thought it would be a good idea to put duct tape over the valve opening. It would be a good deal at 2/3 of the price he’s asking, but not at $650…

I’d think the decals can be peeled off. The “damage” by valve hole looks to be in the decal, not the disc itself. Same with the duct tape. Who knows if there’s any dings in the actual disc though. Good luck w/ the sale though!

Do the dimples work when hidden behind the decal?

no clue…the decal can be removed though…the real question is…do they work at all?

If the decal can really be removed, then have him remove it! Then it will sell a lot easier and for more $$.

Hopefully, since Zipp decals their own wheels (and you can see the dimples behind the decals).

I think it’s an 08’, but is there a way to tell?..BTW, I pulled the stickers tonight and took pics…since some of you were convinced there may be something not so happy under the decals i found a small scratch to satisfy you, lol…since i pulled these and proved the disc is good, who wants it? remember, no cassette…
