I don’t race triathlon anymore and am trying to fund a cyclocross disc bike. Here is what I have for sale:
Bike: 56cm 2011 Cervelo P2 that has been sitting in my basement catching dust. The bike has been used in 4-5 triathlons (sprint and Oly) and is pretty much in new condition. I maintain my own bikes and have kept it in meticulous condition. Full Ultegra drivetrain and stock wheels. Upgrades include a Prologo TR40 saddle (paid $250 for it and its pretty nice), an Ultegra crankset (better than stock), and a Xlab carbon wing (w/out the cages). $1950 for everything. Shipping extra – I’ll have the bike boxed up at my LBS and send you shipping options.
Wheelset: 2013 Zipp 303 Firecrest Tubulars with Vittoria Corsa Evo tires ($200) used sparingly at races so 95%+ tread intact. 23mm in front and 25mm in rear. The wheels have been used in 6-7 cross races and were meticulously cleaned after each race. The hubs run smooth and the rims are in perfect condition. I’m converting to disc so need to help these along to another home. The wheels also come with the Zipp 303 custom aerojacket from wheelbuilder ($100) that converts the rear wheel into a disc for triathlon. $1700 for everything. Same deal for shipping as above.
Helmet: Rudy project wingspan black/silver used 4-5 times, pretty much brand new. Comes in its original box with all the accessories. $175 including shipping.
I am happy to sell these things separately, but will sell the bike and wheelset together for $3550.
Bike comes with Shimano Ultegra compact cranks (50/34) and a shimano BB, as well as an upgraded saddle (Prologo Nago Evo Tri40). Everything else is stock. I’ll throw in carbon brake pads to go with the zipps.
You state: “pretty much new condition.” Any crashes, drops, scratches, or blemishes?
Can you send more detailed photos of both the bike and Zipp wheelset?
Thanks!
No crashes, no drops, no scrapes, no dings, no blemishes. The only thing to note is that a quarq magnet has been glued onto the frame right next to the BB. I will leave the magnet there as taking it off will likely scratch the paint. Its harmless and perhaps even useful if you have a crank based power meter. I will take more pics of the bike tonight and post (some are attached in a link above).
sbsk10, wft?! Why don’t you post in the main forum rather than trying to take over this thread. Its not even the same bike.
The quarq magnet next to the BB area has been glued on and a sliver of paint is scraped. I am going to leave the magnet on and not try to remove it as it will surely cause paint to come off.
There is a tiny paint scrub on the top tube (pictured) that I hadn’t even noticed before. It is not a ding and appears to be paint from an external body (likely a car bike rack). The top tube is not dented and is completely smooth – the paint scrub is entirely cosmetic
The zipp tubular wheels are currently glued with cross tubular tires. I will take these off as the bike is being offered with road tubulars. I will not glue them on and probably the buyer would be better off having them glued from own trusted mechanic for sanity/safety.
I’d rather not part it out. I’ll have no use for the handlebar or the drivetrain. Lets see if anyone is interested in the complete bike before I start parting out.
I’m interested in the bike w/ stock wheels and the helmet.
I’m in NJ but travel regularly. Would like to see bike if possible. Where are you located? Please PM me so we can arrange specifics.
Thanks!
