I just built this. It’s basically new (except for a few of the SRAM pieces that came off the old CR1…). I’m downsizing the bike department, and this is the first victim, since my CR1 is already really nice.
Frame - 54cm “Wilier Le Roi”. It has the same geometry as a Le Roi, and came (supposedly) out of the same mold. It weighs ~950g, so is pretty light, but for arguments sake, let’s just call it a generic carbon frame (think Pedal Force or something).
Fork - Generic 12k weave fork. It has the correct rake/etc for that frame. It weighs ~350g, so is pretty light.
Other - Salsa Red Lip-lock seatpost binder, Thomson elite seatpost, Ritchey headset.
Wheels - Easton Tempest II Clinchers. Brand new, but stickers were taken off. Tires are Vittoria Rubino Pro. Salsa Flip-Off Red Skewers.
Crank/BB - Ultegra SL
Front Derailleur - Ultegra SL
Rear Derailleur - SRAM Force
Shifters - SRAM Force
Cassette - SRAM OG 1070 11-26
Brakes - SRAM Rival
Stem - Ritchey WCS 100mm
Bars - Ritchey WCS 40cm
Saddle - Specialized Toupe Team Red/Black 130
Other: It comes with awesome Arundel ‘Oil Slick’ cages ($100 right there) and Nokon Cables (alternating Red-Black design….3 reds then 1 black, it looks cool).
The frame rides very similarly to my CR1, for ride comparison purposes. It’s pretty freaking stiff, and corners nicely.
I’d like to get $2000 (+ shipping) for it with the wheels, or $1500 without the wheels/cassette/tires. I’ll definitely entertain offers, though!
