am getting rid of my 3 pairs of shimano shoes in order to buy Sidis. a friend gave me a pair of Sidi 2 strap tri shoes which i really like, so i am planning on also buying the road version. i have the silver 1 strap tri shoe (TR50), the 3 strap road shoe (R220 - white), and the old silver 3 strap road shoes (not sure of model number). all have carbon soles.

the Tri Shoes are from 2007 but were only used in a handful of races (6 i think) and a few training rides (mostly short warmup rides the few days before a race). most of the time i used my road shoes.

the white R220s are from 2008. used 2-3 days a week; 1-2 hours at a time most weeks. these are the heat moldable shoes which i had done but frankly tell a lick of difference. i think you can have it redone if you are so inclined.

all of these are very good products, IMO. i just found something that fits my foot better so am going to switch over.
