A 2011 Mavic Ksyrium SL rear wheel with just under 100 miles on it is for sale. It comes with the Wheelbuilders aerojacket covers, extra accessories, the “crack pump” and a Mavic single wheel bag. The rear wheel was used for three triathlons this year-one 56 mile HIM, one Olympic and one event with a 20 mile bike segment. It comes in at 860 grams without the skewers–but skewers are included in the purchase. Wheel is in excellent shape, nearly bombproof as I rode a 9 speed rear for six years without any issues and this one was purchased from TriSports at the retail price of $529.00. Note a clincher rim strip has been installed. The Wheelbuilders Aerojacket covers are in excellent shape with some fingerprints noted on it. The covers retailed for $89.00 plus the cost of the accessories which were another $22.00. The extra fasteners will come in handy for future use. The covers are loosely installed on the wheel for this sale. One will have to remove the covers prior to usage as tires/tubes need to be installed. The crack pump works best wtih two people, one pumping and one holding this device. The wheel bag (around $10 on eBay) does not feature an internal pocket, shows signs of wear but functions as designed.
