FS: 2009 HED H3c wheelset, Brand New

I was recently given a brand new 2009 Hed H3c Tubular 700c wheelset.

They were a graduation gift (just graduated medical school and I start residency June 15th)

These are brand new from the Hed factory, never glued, never ridden. Shimano hub on the rear. I also have conti sprinter tires for both, skewers and glue.

I have never used tubulars before and I was more interested in clinchers. As a poor resident clinchers are cheaper and less time consuming.

These retail for $800 for the front, and $900 for the rear, plus the tires and glue.

Asking: $1500 shipped for everything.

(Would be willing to trade for a set of H3C clinchers or Zipp 808s/808+1080/1080s/909s clincher)

Thanks

JD

Here is a pic: (the tires are not glued, they are fresh out of the box, just getting stretched)

Holy hell, if anyone ever gives me a graduation present this expensive, I’ll worship them as a god. You are one lucky Med student.

Any discount for lowly undergrad pre-med students?

I will knock $50 bucks off for anyone who can convince me they deserve it. What’s your MCAT score?

I haven’t taken it yet, but I do have a 3.933 gpa as a 2nd semester sophomore, regardless 50 bucks less is still out of my budget
.

Would you be interested in working out some sort of trade for a pair of 08 Reynolds DV66 tubular wheels with tubulars mounted and ready to roll?
-Mike

Sorry, not looking for tubulars. Thanks

I have an offer to split them up.

I would do $750 for the front shipped anywhere in the lower 48.

But only if I have payment for the rear, $850 shipped in the lower 48.

These are brand new, with tires. $50 bucks off MSRP and a $50 tire plus skewer, tube of glue, and each wheel would come in it’s own bag.

PS: To the undergrad kid, I think 2 decimal points is enough for a GPA, also to get a 3.993, you must have taken a bunch of hours already, why no MCAT?)

I have the MCAT this Saturday (celebrating with a 12 hour shadow of an Internist on Sunday).

Pre-meds should be giving *you *an extra $50. Congrats on graduating and the awesome gift- best of luck with the trade.

At Berkeley, we got 3.7 for A-, 3.3 for B+, etc…

Second semester soph… let’s say he has 45 units done. All A’s and A- one course (3 units).

GPA: 3.98

Just think if his A- was in a 1/2 unit PE course…

Although… really, I’d be pretty mad about one course ruining my perfect GPA. Lucky for me… I was closer to 2.0, than 4.0…

I’m just a sophomore, I just have only made one B, cell bio. I haven’t taken the MCAT because I haven’t taken UPhys 1&2 yet, which I hear is pretty helpful…I’m just now in Ochem 2.
850 is too high for me…

Are those energy drinks I see through the tri-spokes?

By the way, what are you doing your residency in?

Bump for some nice wheels.

In what field/where did you match?

I feel like there is more interest in my medical career than these stellar wheels!

To the guy who asked about the bottles behind the wheels, I guess you can call Tequila, Burbon, Scotch “energy” drinks.

I just matched into Radiology at a very very good program on the west coast. I am stoked to be heading back home.

Also, the wheels, I think I priced them a little steep. I would consider $1500 shipped for both, if you wanted them split, it would be $700 and $800 and you would pay the shipping. I am not that motivated to sell right now. I am actually kinda intrigued by tubulars, so if I don’t have a buyer, then I will just rock them.

Keep in mind these are brand new 2009s with tires, skewers and bags.

Price Drop: $1500 shipped.

Weekend bump, if I don’t hear anything by the end of the weekend I am going to glue and ride em
