CM2 Promotions will be staging a sprint triathlon at the Frost Valley YMCA camp near Claryville, NY on September 6th.

It will be a half mile swim, 11 mile bike and 2.5 mile run in a stunningly beautiful location.

Along with the price of race entry you will get access to 7,000+ acres of fun including horseback riding, indoor and outdoor rock climbing walls, zip lines, outdoor sand volleyball, basketball, miles of trails for hiking, waterfalls, swimming, canoes, row boats, fishing, making apple cider and a preview of our upcoming winter triathlon race location and next July’s half iron tri venue.
All entrants and their immediate families along with volunteers will get free access to everything Frost Valley has to offer as well as a great race.

Bumpity bump bump.

IF I weren’t gonna be up at the Cape visiting my bro, I’d do this in a heartbeat. Tom G was practically salivating telling me all about it at the last club race, he’s really stoked about the event, and everything else that’s available to do before and after.

Tom G. is the driving force behind this race. It was Tom that made it possible for the tri entry to extend all the amenities of Frost Valley to the entire family.

If you’re coming in from out of town, I think they can even offer accomodations, for a price. Check their website if housing is needed.

There will be aid at the transition area. If it gets very hot, we might add a water stop at the run turn around.

As far as “refreshments”, we expect B.A.D. Brewing to provide fresh, home brewed beer.

We can only hope that ST’s own “pistolero” makes a celebrity appearance.

CM2 Promotions is pleased to announce a weekend double header - for the price of a single sprint tri, you can now race 2. This Saturday’s Williams Lake race along with this Sunday’s Frost Valley race. We’re planning on late July, possibly Lake Placid weekend. Things are very preliminary at the moment but updates will be posted to our websites.
