And if you combined it with the old TriSports extender, you could attach basically any front water bottle system. And it was great. (like photo below)
But the piece broke, and now TriSports doesn’t make it’s BTA Mount System 2.1 extender anymore obviously. And it doesn’t look like you could fit a water bottle cage on the Vuka BTA Mount without an extender.
Does anyone know if 1. there is a water bottle that would fit on the Vuka front mount? or 2. if someone makes an extender piece like TriSports used to attach the front mount and a water bottle cage?
Are you looking to mount the exact bottle picture? I have the same Zipp bta and I use just a xlab torpedo cage with a normal water bottle and it fits and works fine. I have the bottles valve pointing towards me but it doesn’t have any issues at all. I use Specialized purist bottles.
hmm, ok, so you can get it to fit with the Zipp BTA? I couldn’t get any kind of aero bottle to fit without hitting the computer mount, but let me see. I assume if you’re using the Specialized purist, you’re just pulling it in and out to drink during a race?
Yes. I just pull it out and drink it then return it. I can’t post the pic of my set up because the file size is too big. I could email you a pic if you want.
I have that extension piece too. I noticed they stop selling it while back. I’ll be careful, but I think it’s each to custom make it if you know any machine shop.
