Frivolity

At only $115 each, its a steal. It even comes with a matching water bottle.

The world may never know…and once again, though I am a Campy Nazi…I just dont get it. Seems there is a rash of new bottles and cages out there to solve a problem no one had. I will stick to steel King cages.

Oh come on!!!

Think of the massive time savings possible by changing from old-school ugly steel to hip-young-now-sexy carbon…

that has got to be worth what, at least 300 milliseconds over a 40K.

$115 for a net loss of what 800 milligrams and dropping 300 milliseconds off your 40K time.

that is soooo worth it,I may have to get two.

Jim

Was at LaBicycletta in Toronto a year ago or so, talking to Heath, who works there but used to be sales manager for Cervelo in the early days. He told me of a customer who built up a (I think) Colnago and demanded that all the most expensive parts be used. He must have had these bottle cages because the bill came to something like $21,000. CDN (about $15,000. US). A little later he ordered another bike to be spec’d exactly the same. Apparently he wanted one for the house and one for the cottage.

Made me realize there are people in this world that have a lot more money than I do.
