Frisco, TX Run loops

I am heading to Frisco, TX, near Dallas, for a couple days and curious if anyone knows of any loops from the Westin there. Have a bit of time one afternoon so would like a 2ish hour loop if I can be picky but any help will be appreciated :slight_smile: Thanks!

If you can get across Hwy 121 (just South of the Westin) you will find some corporate campuses. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl You should be able to string together a nice run in that area. Let me know if you have any questions.

Also you might contact the folks at Texas Triple Threat or Negative Split Racing for route info…they are both in that area of town.

2 hours… hmm, how many miles is that for you?

I can’t speak much about the north side of 121, but you could head south on Legacy. You’ll shortly hit Headquarters – going right or left will put you on the campuses of either Frito-Lay or JCPenney, and you can loop those. Alternately, continue down Legacy until Corporate and hang a right. Go to Tennison/Midway and hang another right (heading south-ish again). Follow this down to Windhaven and hang a right for a good hill to use. When you come back, you can turn on Spring Creek for some other hills.

Also, there’s a great running store – Luke’s Locker on Legacy just across the tollway from you. They can help you out, too. (I think they have a Wed. morning group run that is open to anyone, also.)
