im taking ice baths every other day year round for soreness …but what might be your thoughts during a 3 day taper for a oly dist…maybe counter productive?/tia

The only problem is why are you so sore that you need one as you taper for your race? That being said, they are great for recovery, so I can’t see how it would hurt. Follow-up with a hot shower and stretch. That’s a great way to loosen back up afterwards. I’ve never heard ANY negatives about icing…
