Free Cervelo carbon seat post

So I was at the bike shop having my new computer put on my Specialized Epic (surprise Christmas gift from my wife, great wife huh guys). Anyway they mentioned they had gotten a Cervelo carbon post in and they didn’t know who it was for. I have wanted a extra post for my Soloist for a while because if I break the one on my bike in one of my all too frequent crashes I would be screwed since only a Cervelo post will work with this frame.

Anyway I asked them how much for it and the owner looked at me, smiled, and said Merry Christmas! Just another reason I support the local bike shop all I can.

Just had to share.

Dammit! I thought you were offering up a free one. I have 2 Cervelos sans carbon posts. I need to rectify that stuation.

Um… are you western mountain time? Round here Christmas has come and gone. (And no, Santa still hasn’t brought me a carbon seatpost, dang it.)

I hope he charged you a hundred bucks to install the computer you lucky SOB :wink:
