Freaked out...Back Problems?

So there I was just sitting there, taking the kids to the pool. I sort of lean in a more aero position while I am there…seems that when my spine has the right curve the “drive” to the pool is a bit easier. Next thing I know, I can not sit up! My mid/lower back just seized up…felt like bone-bone pain, not a tight muscle. So, I was able to use the “tard bar” to pull myself into a twisting motion to get the back kinda normal again…and was able to sit upright and get out with out calling 911 to take me out of there (remember Lethal Weapon?)

So my question is, should I get this checked out? Some of you knwo that I have pretty severe osteoporosis and have broken C5, C7, C1 and C2 in the past 2 years…maybe I am just paranoid and this is normal.

No it’s not normal… I think you should go get checked out, this is a warning sign thbat something is not right. Better get it fixed now, before it becomes a chronic problem… I am all about prevention!

Osteoporosis at your age? If so that’s obviously something to be concerned about. That in itself warrants a good look.

Had a good look at it. Caused by super high cortisol levels in my blood from a small neurological issue that is like a gremlin near my pituitary, hypothalius and some other thinger in my noggin.

The thing that you have to be careful of is a compression fracture. These are most common in the T12-L1 area.
