Frankenstein Ironman handlebar/aerobar set-up

When riding long distances, my hands tend to look for many positions on the bars., specially the tops on long climbs. I was set on drop bars since cow horns offered little hand positions. I also liked the flat top the new carbon drop bars had, but had to figure how to get aerobars on them. The Deda Synapsi was a great idea but offered little comfort in the aero since it had no pads ( and very expensive). I found the FSA K-wing having on of the longest round centers of the carbon flat top drop bars. Got the Look stem which had a narrow frontal to fit in clamps. Then I went to my chest of aerobars from years of riding. Machined the Profile ZB flip-up bracket tops from the 26mm standard to a 31.8 oversize. Got the lower clamp from my Profile Jammer GT, and the carbon extensions from my Profile Carbon-X. Then got plastic the round arm rest pads of my older Profiles since they offer more comfort and ability to move forearms around than the newer F-19 & 22s. The end product is light enough but more important, gives me all the hand positions I look for, and the aerobars always there when needed. My lesson here, It pays to keep all the old stuff. I just want to know what FSA has to say about my clamping on the drop bars. Will post this forum if the bars break.
