It looks like he may have been booted from the forum, proving that triathletes have no sense of humor, but I have a sneaking suspicion that fangible either a) is bikesnobnyc or b) reads WAAAAY too much bikesnobnyc. Go back and read his prior posts. There is a strong similarity in writing styles, and several references to bikesnobnyc. Thoughts?

No no…there was no humor in his post. There was humor in Bike Snobs (and I love that site)…but, in the way that the “can I get my money back” was in the thread just did not convey humor.

you’re right, he was booted. he wouldn’t have been, had i been able to PM him about some particularly obnoxious posts. but he chose not to accept PMs. my only alternative was to send him the only other kind of message i was able.

Good call…yes, they are ALLOT alike. Be that as it may, the way that the PC thread was put out there was potentially damaging to Power Cranks Inc - or what ever the company name is. People reading Bike Snob…who know what it is, well, know what it is. But, typing “do you think I can get a refund” and “recall” out of the context of Bike Snob is just not proper.
