That’s funny. San Antonio is where Francois lives now, but I thought his actual hometown was Paris.

I agree. Growing up not far from El Paso you always heard the old barb: But it’s a dry heat. Good Lord, I doubt we ever have much above 15%.

Almost right! In July and August El Paso and the rest of the soutwestern deserts get warm humid air and roving thunderstorms that originate in the gulf of California (between baja and the msin part of Mexico). It is called the ‘monsoon seaso’ The temperature goes down into the 90’s and the humidity comes up some (not like Houston). These wild very brief t-storms come in an out. The lightning can be quite spectacular.

Yeah, take it with a grain of salt (of course you may be living here and/or a meterologist, so take my observations with some salt too). The “monsoon season” in NM means we get rain once or twice a week for a period of what, late July-August?
