Frame size difference for building a TT bike?

I recently got an opportunity to buy a roubaix pro carbon framset and deraileurs for 400.00, problem is that its a 56cm, right now I ride a 61 cm soloist. Is that too big of a difference??? I know that lots of riders ride a smaller frame for a TT bike than they would a road bike, I also know that a roubaix isnt the ideal tri bike, but for the money, it will be hard for me to find a better carbon fiber frame.

ALSO: I know that the roubaix is usually a very relaxed frame built for comfort rather than pure racing, is it even possible to set that frame up aggresively??

Thanks

Typically a tri bike will measure a little shorter from seat tube length because of the angle difference, but it depends entirely on the geometry.

When it comes down to it, there are a lot of factors that determine fit for a tri bike that are different than that of a typical road bike. And if the 56cm roubaix isn’t going to fit you, it doesn’t matter how cheap it is–It’s going to be a waste of money, unless of course you can turn around and sell it for a profit.
