Frame from Zero Feedback Ebay Seller

I am bidding on a frame from a new Ebay seller…

I do know that the (a) person actually exists, as I spoke with him this AM (I found a number on a expired Craigslist add), got a name and found the name listed on a charity ride in Bellvue, WA.

I’m still a bit nervous. How would a guy protect himself outside of the Paypal/Ebay bullshit framework?

I’d be happiest if I sent cash to a ST’er in Bellvue who would pick the frame up for me (I’d pay a slab or two of home-cured smoked bacon for the favor - and a bottle of wine from the cellar).

pay via paypal but do not use your bank account or your pay pal balance (empty your paypal balance in advance of the purchase), instead use a credit card. the cc company will give you a recourse if things go bad.
