is it ok to ride my Flashpoint 60’s in the rain? Not my preference to do so. But if it happens is there a risk/harm from water getting in the wheel around the stem or somewhere else?
If not is there anything special I should do to them afterwards?
Also sine I’m still new to all of this, is it ok to ride them in a group ride on hills? I need to spend some time on them.
i’ve ridden mine in the rain and had no problems.
they will get some water in the rim though (i didn’t notice during the ride, but after, moving the bike around, i could hear it in there). I just took off the tire/tube, drained the water as best as i could in the tub (use the valve stem hole as a drain), and let them dry out for about a day. I found the water won’t evaporate very quickly with the tires on.
