Amazing story…
Unbelievable!
Wasnt she featured in NBCs Kona coverage?
wow, I have known Danelle for years.
she has won numerous major adventure races, Mt Taylor Quadrathlon (sp), done pretty well at Xterra’s, cyclocross, snowshoe racing and the such.
glad she is going to be ok.
Kurt
The Kona adventure athlete was Robin Benincasa
.
that was Robyn Benincasa
.
No, that was Robyn Benincasa. Danelle is the same calibur of adventure racer as she is though.
Man, you gotta love dogs.
Wow, a 60’ fall.
When was the last time you heard about a cat that saved its owner or some person? Dogs rule.
Wow
Danelle is a really good person. She has worked hard for Adventure Races, and helps put on alot of races here in Colorado.
She is a tough individual, and she proved it again.
Glad to hear she is was rescued, hope she recovers.
That dog deserves a medal or something!
that story did more to soften my wife’s heart towards getting a dog than all my other arguments combined!
I entered one of Danelle’s snowshoe races about two years ago. She personally called to confirm that I needed a loaner pair of snowshoes and work out the details. Just one small detail but says a lot about her. Lets’s hope she recovers quickly.
I think Danelle put on Powerman Colorado in Evergreen for a few years…great athlete. Wow - amazing story.
