would like a 10sp shimano-compatible 700c rear wheel on which to leave the conti trainer tire. don’t need anything fancy, just something that spins and won’t break the bank - it can weigh 500lbs and look like it’s been through a war as long as it’s fairly true and the bearings/hub aren’t on their last legs.
thanks for looking!
cheers!

To minimize expense, get something from Performance. Inexpensive that will last, go with Neuvation.
if it comes to that, i can get a pair of vuelta zerolites on ebay for $130 shipped. i just wondered if someone had an old beater wheel sitting around that they might like (or their spouse might like) to get out of the garage/house/shed - it’s spring cleaning time!
i do appreciate the suggestion, though - thanks!
cheers!

Got’cha covered - 2 choices: one is a Mavic Classic Elite and one is an unidentified manufacturer - has a decal on it that says “Matrix”. Both are 700c, true, in good shape and Shimano compatible. The Mavic is yours for $50 and the mystery wheel for $30 - plus actual shipping in both cases. Neither currently has rubber or a cassette, but I’m sure I can come up with a skewer of some sort. Let me know if you’re interested.
Mike
excellent! the mavic sounds perfect - i have rubber (the trainer tire that’s currently on my wheel), a cassette on the way, and i can just use the kurt kinetic trainer skewer.
would be happy to send paypal payment immediately for $50 plus shipping (post is preferred - couriers charge too much for cross-border) to N3H 4X5 in ontario, canada - just shoot me a PM with your paypal address.
thanks mike, greatly appreciated!
cheers!

I may be interested in the mystery wheel as I was looking for a wheel for my trainer tire also. How much is shipping on a bike wheel? Thanks
Sorry, but both wheels are sold.
