OK I pissed myself during a the bike on an IM and now my shoes smell like urine. I have tried a mild detergent and febreeze and it helped for like a day. I don’t want to have to buy new shoes but they smell rancid. Any tips form others that have pissed themselves?
Sure glad I saved 2-3 mins…
soak some paper towels in windex
sruncch them up and stuff them in your shoes
leave them outside for a day like that

I sprayed 'em down w/ water, and while they’re still damp, poured a box of baking soda inside & all over. You can actually see the baking soda turn nasty with the funk that gets leached out overnight. Pour/shake out the clumps and loose baking soda after a day or 2, and then rinse out the rest.
Not 100% good as new, but mine are tolerable now.
I did what JackMott said. When I sat them outside, it was on top of the car in the sun all day. It really helped.
For the windex trick does it have to be hot and sunny out. I am in Chicago and with fall, warm and sunny days are limited…
Drink more water to dilute your urine; this way you won’t be pissing battery acid. Problem solved.
I agree but the deed is done… I will use this in the future when I plan to pee in my shorts.
