Fork with integrated front brake

Will the THM-Carbones Scapula F work with a Cervelo P4?

I can’t wrap my head around the aerodynamics of the Cervelo P4 and head tube shape and then throwing on a front brake with brake cables exposed.

that fork still has the cables exposed.

there is a good chance it would be a net-loss aerodynamically, just by the fork shape not being as refined and integrated with the p4 downtube.

best bet is to go with a center-pull I think. then you have almost no cable housing, just a bit of brake cable right in line with the head tube.

I’m still having a hard time with a solution for a center pull and the cable routing with the shape of the P4 head tube. And I refuse to drill a hole through the stem to drop it down through.

what is the problem? does the head tube interfere with the cable stop?

That is what my LBS states as well as the search on ST. I believe it was Tom A. that suggested drilling a hole through the stem, but I’m not that couragious.

I contacted TRP and they stated the same thing.

Just get the egg brake?

I have the egg brake and just installed it, but the damn brake cable still sticks out like a billion grams of drag. I’m sure it’s hardly anything, but my OCD won’t let it go. It really bothers me that the frame and all is so aerodynamic but the damn cable is just sticking out there.
