How many grams of carbs do you eat per day if you are training 10-15 hrs per week? I’ve heard all kinds of stuff, but would love to hear some feedback.
Thanks.

hmm…doing doing some simple math here…
2 hours of training per day ~1600 kcals for me + ~2200 kcals (100/hr) for the rest of the day
3800 total kcal
I’m about 60% CHO, 25% PRO, 15% FAT
60% of 3800 = 2,280kcal / 4kcal/g =** 570 g CHO/day**
do i weigh 200lbs or 100lbs?
am I doing 10-15 hours at 17mph on the bike
or 10-15 hours at 5 minute pace running?
how many miles would that be? a lot I bet.
anyway im just trying to imagine what use the answers to your question can be since its so broad of a question

First thing, kind of depends on you fitness level, amongst other things - your burn rate will be different to someone who has substantially different fitness level (either better or worse).
If you aim for ~5-6 g/kg of body weight per day, you would probably be fine.
The most important thing isn’t the number of carbs you eat- but rather the TYPE of carbs you eat. Eat complex carbs, look for carbs high in fiber and they’ll last longer and are better for you. Of course, this assumes you’re not looking for immediate energy (ie on the bike, etc.- then just eat the simple sugars…my saving grace!)
