Next week, I am in the Provence (Le Levandou). Where can I rent a good bike??? I take the plane to Toulon (Huyères). So anything between Toulon-St Tropez is ok. I want to test the IM Nice bike course.
I can’t help you with a specific place in that area but when I was there a couple summers ago (up in Lacoste) I just rolled into the nearest largish town (Cavaillon in that case), found a large bike shop (not hard) and asked what they had on the go for rentals. I am sure if you don’t get a recommendation on here of a particular place that Google or “showing up” will get it done.
Picked up a nice road bike for the 10 days I was there and rode the Gorges de la Nesque (highly recommended) and then assaulted (by which I mean met a new local every 20 mins as they passed me) Mt Ventoux.
