For once, Indiana matters in the primaries

Indiana doesn’t have its primary until May 6th, but the candidates are already here in force. Obama was nearby last weekend, and Hillary was here as well. Bill Clinton was here yesterday, and Chelsea is making the rounds of college campuses today with actor Sean Astin (“Rudy”). Hillary will be back in a few days. This is, of course, very odd – typically the candidate would be chosen long before Indiana’s primary, and we rarely get to see the leading Democrats anyway as Indiana is typically a red state. My future mother-in-law shook Bill Clinton’s hand yesterday, and told me on the phone it was the first time they’d seen a president or vice president in their area since Richard Nixon in 1959!

It should be a fun 5-6 weeks…

sorry to break it to you, but the “super delagates” will decide your election. you might as well stay home. you vote doesn’t really count.

I’m glad I’m not a dem

Oh sure. Why don’t you rub it in? Thanks.

Bernie

What you really mean to say is you’ve been “disenfranchised” for the past x amount of primary elections and now you matter! Rudy?
