Is very good, but extremely dark and a bit twisted. Don’t expect a happy ending! They aired the Christmas special in the UK a few weeks ago, don’t know if it will be on Netflix yet, I had to watch Elf afterwards to cheer myself up…

I watched the first two episodes, and it is extremely dark. It’s like watching the end of Season 4 of Dexter each time.
Was home today with a bad fever and burned through a good chunk of this show.
Holy crap that is one dark, dark show. Every episode is like watching a completely different nightmare.
I love these recommendations, I would never had found Peaky Blinders with our slowtwitch. I will add Black Mirror to “mylist”.
I had a tough time getting through episode 2 with the spin classes. I sure hope that is the worst one. I didn’t realize there was no continuation and was kind of looking forward to see how it played out after the very bizarre episode 1.

Yeah, I watched the first episode a couple weeks ago and I’m kind of with you. Only so much public pig fucking I can take. I like dark movies, but this turns it where it just uncomfortable to watch. I felt dirty at the end…which I guess is their point and their goal.
I might try another episode and see.

The second one is better than the first, but darker almost in its own way. I just finished the third, and it was definitely the least gut wrenching of the three outside of it being the most believable.
The whole memory video on demand sounds like such a bad idea, but I bet people would do it.

Episode 5 was really good. Episode 4 was the worst so far. Didn’t finish it.
I finished them all including the Christmas special. The first two episodes are definitely the most gut wrenching, so if you can make it past those then you’re more than capable of getting through the rest. I enjoyed the Christmas episode the most. That episode was the best at capturing Brooker’s technological paranoia.
I really enjoyed the series as a whole. The Christmas special, while it started strong, in my opinion, ended feeling sort of tacky, sarcastic, or even playful rather then feeling truly spooky or with a sense of warning, IMO. Might as well ended with the “twighlight zone” music playing.
Still, all in all, very cool show.
